Hey guys welcome to the Blog 'Bosola's adventure's in Microsoft Expressions'. Sorry for the long title, I have a feeling it may leave you thinking. 'Ummmm what is Bosola talking about?' Well here is a brief explanation.
As part of my work with the Tate Modern's Raw Canvas Programme, I alongside 4 other Raw Canvas members have been invited to take part in a project with Technology/advertising/ can do pretty much anything with computers agency Conchango, http://www.conchango.com/.
The aim of the project is to teach us how to use some new creative software being developed by Microsoft called Expressions, which would allow us to make animation, websites, films, other really nerdy and useful things like that.
I'm going to be blogging my experiences here, and talking about the trials and tribulations, that I face as I ummmmm try to learn how to draw (I always struggled with Paper, lets see how far I get a laptop) and then take those drawings, and make them move in animation plus a whole heap of other stuff. I'm really hoping I might be able to learn how to make games, that would be really cool.
My first trial, has been I need to learn how to upload what I have made so far onto the blog, I've got the picture I made in my first lesson, and a short animation, we did the week after, so once I over come that hurdle, I'll be blogging it.
